Yeah it's a suffix c box so it was gasketed, tbh I prefer gaskets, but I know that Ashcroft for instance don't use gaskets on any of their boxes.
I had the big nut off the end of the diff assembly the other day (it was loose) so I removed all the gears etc to check for diff spindle wear etc, there was a slight step in the diff spindle but not too bad.
Now is the time to check of course, can't remember why I didn't take the diff apart when I had all the gears off it but I'm sure there's a reason, I'll have another look at it today.
