thats just his kitchen bitch lol... mines 20 in oct, shoulda said n we could have had a joint bday in summer :D. my front one went last time at biggin, n mate did same - it came completely off. funny as fook to watch him drive it, like a snake haha

yeah thats mike my kitchen and gate bitch and general off roading chum :)

my front axle is reet, just the rear thats a bit past it.

did you know that both myself and my vehicle share the same birth date? the car was registered '92 and i was registered '87 but we're both 10th april.

how nice :)

And where does that ladder lead to?

that ladder leads to the roof :)

i do actually have a roof box for the disco (which is colour coded!) but it rarely gets used, only when i need to take a **** load of stuff. since removing the rear seats i now have mucho room in the car.

does look rather snazzy though with the olive drab roof box i must admit.

cheers!

Now I could do with a picture of that. Just think a camo disco and matching roof box would be good lol.

Shame the old girl is parked up, don't let that be a habit now. What business are you in now then Sam? What business can we pass your way?

i'll get a pic when i can!

it wont be a habit dude, just need the space in my head at the minute more than anything mate!

ive been djing for ages but am now trying to get into nightlife events and promotion, so we've been getting the advertising set up and speaking to various bar/club managers - which involves lots of work and late nights!

I can imagine how much hard work it is drumming up interest in a new venture, especially in a market place which i would expect is quite clicky. Good luck dude!!

eh up chaps!

i've located a brand new axle case which im collecting on sunday, so will soon be back on the road.

cheers :)

Excellent news mate.

I have been wounding what the rattle and crunch was from the front end for the last few days. I didn't pay much attention to it as I was more concerned why the brakes would suddenly go spongy.

Anyway turns out after looking tonight, that the hub bearing nuts had come loose and the disc was wobbling around and knocking the pads apart. Huuumm better pay more attention next time.

Anyway I guess I had bett strip and clean both sides after the weekend out.

hello

yeah it pays to keep on top of wheel bearings, especially with our wide wheels.

after i reconditioned both my axles i was having one or two loose bearings every time i went out for the forst 6 months.

now that they have bedded in nicely however, i have not had an issue for well over a year. its only done a couple thousand max, but thats through mud and **** constantly. had a bearing seal go, but bearings were sweet so went back in.

keep on top of your bearings, especially checking new ones all the time. pack the hubs full of grease, dont just smear the bearings as is often suggested.

use seals FRC8222G and FRC 8221G (iirc) as they are oil seals (not grease seals) so they have a garter spring and extra sealing. i firmly believe that using these early type seals has vastly improved my bearing life because i no longer get water in the hubs.

ahhh, you cant beat experience :D

.....ahhh, you cant beat experience :D

Yes you can with a big mahusive stick!!

Thanks for the sugestion Sam. I will put another bearing in on Saturday as im out in it on Sunday. I will then pull both hubs and clean/rebuild. Will check the rear axle too.

HELLO CHAPS :)

so its time for me to ask you all a favour :D

im trying to enter a dj competition, and i need your help.

its very simple, all you have to do is click this link:

Sam Reko Stussey - Wakestock DJ Competition | Mixcloud - Re-think radio

i need at least 100 listens on the mix or else it will not be entered into the festival competition.

its a really simple request and it would really help if i could get some mates/followers/members off the forum to help build the numbers up.

id really appreciate it if you could help out :)

cheers, sam

thanks fellas, have got 62 listens so far so are getting reasonably close, if we can get over 100 i'll be ****ing well chuffed! :D

cheers!
