I wanna get into SOME water and play with the big boys a little... It's not a Gaylander, after all! I could go in up to the tops of my wheels with the EAS at max height without risking any water close to the intake... Just need to stop it getting in through the doors, as that will kill all my (under-seat) ECUs!!

Besides, I wanna wash all the mud off that I'll have underneath...

Oh, another thing... Is taking my side-steps / running boards (whatever they're called) off a good idea?

At the end of the day it's your call what you do although have you looked up the price of a replacement BECM unit, not that I'm trying to put you off or anything.
As for the running boards, the outer rubbers love peeling off in the ruts ;)

Took the lads out for a bit of a roustabout yesterday and used the day as final prep for next weekend :)

It all went really well (barring an overheating mpi Disco) until we got to the usual mud and watering holes - peeps got stuck, Submarine Alley is now effectively dammed up, DV broke down and then it got dark....:D

Saw WLM and the others coming the other way heading west up to the A303, pulled over to let them come up through, waved.....and that was it......you ignorant bastids :p:p:D:D

I got stuck here last time I was out with Rich, ( went home wet feet, Wet ass, the seats have only just dried out). So on Saturday I am going to make sure It ant Low and Slow, its Fast as uck.:bump2: with all the ropes out and ready at the back, and the winch good to go.
Good pics

Just don't go too fast in the deep, dry ruts or it'll be :rolly:

no p38 isnt a direct replacement ,you can get them for disco /defenders ,they where fitted to military and heavy duty ,those are direct replacement

funnily enough i do have one that needs rebuilding
if only i could rebuild one,:p

standard diffs are just throw away items for me to try and rebuild them and then setup correct backlash etc aint for me

but if you wanna rebuild your 4 pin and then sell it to me for £50 i wouldnt be offended:D
