I'm just trying to scrape the mud out of my interior and hoping the sun will help dry it out. Mrs mud doesn't seem to agree that interior mud is a much desired modification amongst the Landy fraternity lol

Took the lads out for a bit of a roustabout yesterday and used the day as final prep for next weekend :)

It all went really well (barring an overheating mpi Disco) until we got to the usual mud and watering holes - peeps got stuck, Submarine Alley is now effectively dammed up, DV broke down and then it got dark....:D

Saw WLM and the others coming the other way heading west up to the A303, pulled over to let them come up through, waved.....and that was it......you ignorant bastids :p:p:D:D

mud for it tried submarine alley but its just gloopy mud and hw got well n truely stuck, thats where i done me diff trying to recover him

Anyone got any tips for 'waterproofing' a P38? I just want to try and slow down the ingress to give me a couple more minutes in case I get stuck... Does Vaseline on door seals help their effectiveness?

Dumb Q's I know... But I'm a noob...

Well spent the afternoon ****ing around getting covered in derv and.......

Cheers james, I did what you said and lift pump was a fault. A brand new lift pump I hasten to add:mad:
So, unable to do **** all about a weak lift pump on Sunday I decided to try summin.
I have routed my return into my fuel filter with a bodge that I am very proud of:D
And now it runs like never before, I have access to the full rev range and she goes like stink..woohoo:D

Ha! Doesn't matter, we'll catch up next weekend :)
After Phil and Dan tried their young bravado (and failed epically) there is a nice 'dam' in the deepest bit of the submarine pens where I'm assuming M4it was stuck earlier in the day :D

Easypeasey........don't go in it!
Unless we have a weeks solid rain there really isn't going to be that much water as a whole and there's plenty of places for you to go around if necessary ;)
