Now, to tackle the bulkhead i couldn't get in with the grinder as you can see i tried but failed miserably hehe. so a lot of sanding down and B&Q's own paint stripper which by the way is SH*T only used this as ran out of nitromorse :( took way too long haha

Primed up the bulkhead, i used a Halfords rattle can for this as i hadn't any normal primer still did the job tho :)

have you ever tried a grit gun for paint removal?

might be a tad expensive for the roof but easier than rubbing all that area

just curious, thinking of trying that myself

Yes mate i do have a grit gun but would take way too long and be an expensive and messy job i will be saving the grit gun for my wheels :)

Neat all purpose cleaner should shift that algae, failing that order some trash wash - slightly acidic stuff which they spray n lorry chassis to clean. I suspect the paint will be very thin / almost none existent after a clean up. Most of mine was bare slightly pitted metal. It was then etched, then water based primer followed by two pack top coat and looks new again.
If you haven't got one It might be worth buying a cheap dual action rotary sander and coarse pads - shifts paint quickly

pressure washing took all the algae off my roof along with a lot of paint, i guess from getting so much sun exposure

if you are sanding back top coat just to give a surface for the new paint to attach too, couldn't you just top coat it and not use primer, in the interests of my own idleness of course :)

more thinking of my s1 which is nato green but tatty, i just want to give it a quick once over.

Been busy with other stuff so aint been able to do much as would of liked but here is where i am at atm.
