Wtf I'd have the hump too. Useless ****ers. I've been so lucky thus far with deliveries. I seem to get the same dpd man every time. He comes in ad chats for 2 mins he's been delivering landy bits all year haha

Would you mind asking him next time he pops by if he's seen my RRC air filter box? DPD lost it last August, it looks like this ;)

Wait... You have a fender and a rrc? Are we allowed two?!

It's a 3.9 V8 auto converted 90, proper job he made of it too, I had the pleasure of a ride around the town in it, mini rocket ship it is :) Light weight engine with big power and torque for such a light little Land Rover

If I had the space I would probably own about 5 Land Rovers :D

That's it. I'm v8'ing a series or mod 90 next.

Don't V8 a series they have drum brakes & no power steering.
Yes scary but fun

Looked at putting a V8 back into the hicap. Must be a 3.9 on SU carbs.
Simples

If I were to do a series then I would run level leaf parabolics for max articulation and do a swivel ball conversion so I could fit a set of coiler swivels balls, housings & hubs using coiler CVs, shafts and diffs, that means I could enjoy disc brakes all round and the taller gearing :) and who needs power steering when you can eat your spinach :D

Well I, erm, have gotten carried away with the desire to get my wheel and tyre situation sorted and I'm not holding out much hope of TNT actually finding a 3' 6" tall 18" wide cardboard cylinder that weighs about 100lbs so I set about looking for a new set of Disco rims for machining, obviously I would be delivering them in person this time

Little bit of eBay later and I bought these.

Will still need a spare but there is time for that :)

33x12.5x15 in imperial, metric would be roughly 305/75 r15

I will have to see how my gearing goes as these will put another 4ish% on my gearing, the 235/85 r16 coopers already boosted me 10% so this will be a 14+% raise which might be a bit much for motorways, maybe a ratio swap in my transfer box or potentially gear reduction with 4.12 HD ring and pinions but that's bigger money than I had planned right now but not long term so we'll see where we end up.

Picking them up tomorrow night so it'll be interesting to see what he looks like on them.
