Could hear chirping and had these in stock so put on new dayco belt and tensioner. Removed tensioner doesn’t sound terrible but isn’t silent so hopefully I’ve cured it.
Sprayed all the underneath with degreaser and will hit it with the steamer.
She’s marking slightly, only a couple drips over night but that’s her giving me fair warning.
Current guess is the crappy seal for the t box by the handbrake drum. Wading plug fitted to seal if RMS is leaking. Not too sure yet.
Nothing alarming anyway, just enjoyable tinkering at the moment.

Looks well made and has big bolts welded in rather than studs that rely on a little tack of weld!
Go on give us a link where you got it from..
Just got hold of a better rear cover for mine & this should fit neatly inside.
(Better than the eye & ratchet strap that’s been tested for years)

The guy who repaired it said to tighten it very slightly first, which should break the corrosion instead of trying to release it first.

I mounted spare wheel earlier. I’ve got fairly chunky tyres but nothing daft. The wheel tucks up to tailgate much closer and is a way better fit!

Don’t wanna go through that again! On the plus, my existing tap wasn’t cutting it (pun intended). I ordered a set of m10 from eBay with not much faith. They weren’t dead cheap but weren’t expensive.

From one shot thread onto another! Egr blank now installed with a modified stub axle bolt.

I wanted everything clean as possible to track the oil leaks.

As I was doing egr I decided to swap over my intake to one I already had cleaned up. Yup, went to undo the bolt and it wasn’t tight at all. Bolt removed with a bit of the thread on it. There was thread there, just not much!

I gently did it back up with a good blob of loctite. Think I’ll helicoil it. M8x1.25??

I noticed she’d marked a bit over the weekend. Few drips, half a teaspoon maybe? Can’t see any drips from transfer since scrub. Need to get it back home and tfr the bottom.

Making nice progress. Was chuffed to see the radiator looked brand new.

Think I may be better off just going m10 again as should be enough room. Means I have to oversize the manifold bolt hole and gasket though!
