What you doing about the turbo? Irealise its not an mot fail.

Fitted it back on for now, it's been like that for god knows how long so there's no point having a dead landy based on what might happen, i need to use it everyday for work ( if it pass's the retest  ).

Cor!

So that's what a turbo should feel like

Well it's been swapped and by jove what a difference it makes, pulls up the hills....and pulls up the hills  i didn't take it out far as i'm not supposed to be driving it and if stopped i'm not sure the copper would believe me if i said i was going to my retest @ 8:30 in the morning, unless i could prove it was in Scotland

Anyway another job done for now, will still look for a 200Tdi Def manifold, and fortunately the 19J turbo sits straight onto it ( i had a look )

Once again huge thanks to Vagrent who i shall be teaching the wonderful ways of building pc's soon :D

It passed the retest :D smoke test was done with a light foot shall we say but passed none the less :D

However....I was a day late in the retest so I now have to go back tomorrow for a full mot @ 12 o'clock & unfortunately pay another £40, but at least it'll pass

All done now, full MOT :D

On the advisory for this one he has failed to mention the 3 worn brake lines he put on the other advisory 2 weeks ago.....just goes to show that as a tester hes abit of a dick.

So with my fine newish turbo and said landy doing what it should he its time to flush the intercooler and clean out the pipework of oil.

Indeed Blue, i've got lots planned now she's passed :D

Cleaned up my garage as well and i'm off to the scrap yard tomorrow with a load of bits, might get a quid or 2 for some of it :D

Got a few springs, 2 engines and loads of odds n sods that i kept thinking i may find a use for them....but you know how it is, 12 months later and they're still sat there

I could replace the big end on the clio engine and sell it on, but by the time i've paid for replacement parts n gaskets i wont make any money ( i bought a 2nd hand one with same mileage for 180 quid ) so it can go to the scrap yard
