Hey paul I'd keep that hub and stub axle you got in the back there .

But thats just me for keeping spares :D .

Working on the funds as we speak, injun, crane, getting up there n back or spending a few nights in the garage, new head gasket cost and jobs done.

We'll see ;)

Oh yeah, we gotta lit it up, was gonna offer one last mission with the sprinter before we sell it:D

Took the old injun out today, strippwd the timing cover off.

Stripped the disco timing cover off the disco injun, willbhe fitting the def timing cover tomorrow and hopwfully getting it in and mated to the gearbox.

you been on the falling down water or is yer keyboard fooked?

Leave him be....he deserves a drink if he's gonna try and mount the gearbox to the timing cover ;)

Typed that on me phone surrounded by scantily clad women and loud moosik so was slightly distracted :D

Noo injun fitted and running :D

Still using the trusty turbo set up but have been eyeing up the Disco Turbo and looking at how i can shoehorn it onto the 19j manifold, as nothing is impossible with Landy's i can see this being my next project, the wastegate arm could be an issue as far as i can see...

Also the intercooler needs a good flushing and relevant pipes need sorting out as they're still caked in oil from the last injun,

Whats the standard oil pressure for the 90?

In the other engine it used to sit between 1 & 2, this one is between 3 & 4. As the other one was a bag of spanners i'm thinking atm it's normal to sit in the high 3's.

Just returned from a run to find oil ****ing out the timing case, i know what i did wrong, in fact i remember when i did it, i needed to swap the timing case oil seal around as i inserted it the wrong way.....

Darn:(
Hows it run? apart from the leak?

Running fine with no smoke which is a novelty! Power seems oki but i've not pushed it as it's a partial rebuild and it was stood for a while in Robin's garage, turbo kicks in when it should but i've got to re adjust the intercooler pipes somewhat and look into a different intercooler, so off to the scrappers soon.

That damper i bought at the weekend was the wrong one anorl, i sued the disco one in the end so i'll be taking that back with a return of £60 hopefully ;)
