I recently had an issue with acceleration on my Range Rover. A garage said there were no faults registered in either the engine or transmition diagnostics. Also no mechanical failure was spotted.
The best way I can describe the issue was when accelerating the revs would climb without hesitation but the speed would not increase as if in neutral or climbing a very steep hill. Kick down also activated but without much effect. I could keep vehicle at a steady constant speed.
When I limped off motorway it seemed ok again, and when I had started it back up to go to the garage.
Any thoughts would be useful.
Thanks
NF
PS It was -2degrees accasionally but not that cold I would expect to effect performance.
