Do the 3.6 TDV8 suffer from the same gearbox issues?
I beleive the TDV8 has a decent ZF gearbox.
Do the 3.6 TDV8 suffer from the same gearbox issues?
They where originally stated to be "filled for life" but this statement was soon withdrawn after Landrover realised they made a fk up in there designs !
Of course oil needs renewing !!! What were they thinking !?!?
Can someone help please? If my gearbox oil is low and the filter possibly blocked in my 1996 diesel Range will it cause a lack of acceleration and will it leak out from anywhere onto my drive like it just has?
Mate i have to say this
At the start of this thread i stated all the problems i had with my L322 td6.
i had a P36 before that was a wonderful car with its normal problems,
Moving up to the L322 was a natural progression
i would never tell anyone not to have one
It was and still is by far the best car i have ever had
They are truly stunning to sit in and drive all the people that oowned one will tell you the same.
it what make you smile in the morning and gave me a reason to get up and goto work.
i will have another some day, just with the mother of all warranties to go with it.
i now have a td5 Disco ES its a nice car and runs fantastic but its nothing like the Range rover.
Just look out when you buy one for the box being replaced and long with any other problems it’s had, the chances are i had a duff one of the line made on a Friday afternoon at 4pm in Land Rover (lol)
