Spent the rest of the evening cleaning my gearbox ! Bought a Soda Blaster to speed things up and get a clean finish !

Nice work, any pictures of how good the alloy comes up just from soda blasting? Seems an easier way of doing things to me.

Hi Aaron will take pictures of the transfer box casting tomorrow as its not been painted yet. Has a small pencil like work area

What's the Difference between a soda blaster and sand blasters ect. part from the obvious before anyone says it .

New project arrived today, fresh from Devon a return to the midlands. Non runner, chassis beyond repair, bulkhead easy repair !
Will be a pickup in a new life .
Now the hard work starts, will post pictures as the work takes place
Where did you get it from as its got a lifeboat crew sticker on the window , just curious as im lifeboat crew and would like to know who owned it before

Took the old chassis loom out the Donor today. Added three core to extend the fuel sender wires, stripped off old covering and replaced with new . Then threaded it in new chassis.

Refitted steering pump and new pipes, rear brake pipes/hose and a run up the chassis. Front hoses fitted. F*** cold in the shed !
