Charge battery before anything

Bearing in mind you said you pressed a load of buttons, it might be worth checking in the Becm/settings/options/engine - that it is set to the correct edc or edc advanced, what year is your car.

The setting I have on my nanocom is
Late edc
Moronic
Gems
Early edc

Moronic that's a good one. :D:D:D

Late EDC should be set. On the EDC settings page you should see lots of boxes. First one should have 8 in it all the rest should be 128.

Just can't seam to reset the windows
Get in close doors...

Engine running (I find) then wind the window all the way down to the bottom and hold for 2 seconds then all the way up and hold for 2 seconds....will beep on the way up saying not set...then after a couple of seconds of holding it'll say window set...let the switch go and do the next window!

Ok after a few attempts my windows are now ok thank you to all.

I have one message on the heater

I have gone into the system and found this message
ImageUploadedByTapatalk1421846721.915250.jpg
I have reset this and fingers crossed it's gone.

But I have also a message on the dash saying EAS fault

ImageUploadedByTapatalk1421846806.191760.jpg

And I have cleared this but it keeps on coming back it won't clear [emoji35]

On the plus side
The car starts
My original problem (alarm fault) has gone
I have a kick ass new battery
No more water in the passengers foot well

The down side
Can't get rid of this EAS fault
And I'm skint [emoji16]

Distribution flap stalled is a common problem they tighten up either on the flap pivots or on the operating quadrant. Will eventually need work to free off if it continues to appear. Go on EAS and look at live setting as opposed to written setting. Could be a sticky, dirty sensor or bad connection to it.

Firstly I would like to thank you all for your help and your time
At the moment all things are well
All messages are gone and no beep beep noises or water in the foot well

So at this stage I'm going to walk away and make another brew [emoji477]️

I think the bottom line to this problem was me. No surprise there. I think I had the EDC wrong

It was set to early EDC not late EDC

The other faults have kinda disappeared but I will keep my eye on the EAS message

I would be interested if anyone could look at there EAS profiles just to see if the stored values are any different.

Thanks to all

Stored values will be different car to car, not a lot but different. Live values should be within a couple beats up or down of stored value at each height setting.

Ok I see.
Ow well. I wonder what I can bugger up now [emoji53]

You can see I'm bored now as I've just learned how to put a photo on hear
