After doing some googling its 3/8 unc bolt i need, order 2 9" unc studs and 4x bolts so hopefully they arrive soon! so thats the next step, going to start cleaning engine and bay tomorrow. was hoping to strip engine but will have to wait for that

Yay its out! :) did the engine stand go high enough?

Do you mean hoist? had to put it down on axle stands and take sump off, oh and then jump in stand on the axle and lift the back over, its bloody heavy! was thinking of asking a guy who welds from work to chop the main arm and extended it a foot, Duno if it would have the strength though sure he will be able to answer

Yea lol just got done reading about the stand bolt issue... thats half the reason I winched mine out as I thought there may of been issues

I had the hoist set on 500kg, may have cleared if on 250kg but didn't wanna risk breaking anything, the fun of rounded bolts will now start on the front cover, its always the easy access ones don't round, and the ones in the odd places round instantly :(

I ended up using a nut/bolt extractor on the longest bolt, the head snapped then used a smaller one on the remaining stud(shaft? lol) and got it out.
It had corroded up along the length of it.

for the bolts the long ones for the ancillery brackets work, I robbed my sd1 motor for them, mind you it only gave me 3 so I cut two short ones and welded them together lol

I then got some 110mm ones from a guy at work and they are even better, but the others worked ok for a month or so.

I was on about the engine stand bolts, he seems to have had a hard time getting some. I am guessing yours isnt on the stand anymore mark? :D

did you get it all put back in now?

hold the hub and whack the disc may take some time ,never hit hub

Yeah i just lay it down on the floor disc down hub up, then hold one side up slightly using the hub face and hammer the disc down

The shock gets them off fair quick :)

What a thing of beauty

Ohh and my 3/8 unc studs arrived to just waiting on bolts now!

Unboxing is easily the most therapeutic thing a man can do!

Agreed, was stressing about the maths of how much this is all gonna set me back! but then when the bits arrive and are shiny its all better! plus compared to paying for it to be done i have saved multiple thousands and i get to learn how to do it aswell!
