I got a full brit part hd lift kit, the only thing that is failing is the powder coat paint :p

Ok......so today I spent some time starting assembling my baby.
Cam fitted.
Cam followers fitted.
Timing gear/assembly fitted.
The last photo is my special tool I just made to use for finding true TDC, I spent a bit of time getting the correct length so when I tighten it down I get the more or less 20-30 degrees before TDC stop.

Was going to fit the same to mine to mine to replace the strongburgs, but then aquired the efi so that went out of the window. Might still fit it to the carb engine then find something to put it in

Looks great.

Got the cam dialled in today, and started to fit a few bobs and bits.

Got some more goodies painted. The weather was not to good but I needed to get this done, does anybody have a schematic of the cooling heating including the heater inside the vehicle. I cant seem to find anything as I have converted from EFI to carby I am not sure how the plumbing should look like and I can not find the interior heater valve.

This is the standard timing marks on the crank pulley, before I fit the pulley I will find true TDC again like you do before you dial your camshaft in and then I will compare how accurate the factory marks are on the pulley,if not good I will put my own mark on for TDC and tune the engine from there with much more accuracy. I do fortunately have a very advanced timing light to do this.

You have 2 tubes from the heater inside. The run on top on the drivers rocker cover . One goes to back of the water pump and I think to the manifold. The bit over the rocker cover it done in steel pipe with a bleed in it... do you not have the manifold part?

Thanx for the help.
I do, but for some reason I think there was tinkered so now I am in doubt. I see the new manifold has a out let at the back and searching on Rimmers parts I see there is a fitting that should go on there that the EFI don't have, I will order me one. For what I can figure out the coolant flow's through the block, then the heads, then through the intake, then through the heater matrix, then back to the water pump. I just want to be clear and safe as I have only one chance when I start her up and running the camshaft in.

I was very lucky today, I got my hands on a workshop manual so now I am sorted with that. Also my zorts has arrived.......

Full stainless steel system 550 pound I think, $850.00AUD landed from you guy's.
I am in two minds to get them ceramic coated or not, at this stage I feel like yes do it.

What do you mean? Just the exhaust system? Or the total rebuild of the vehicle? Or just the engine enhancements?

Ooooo I think I got it, the money for ceramic coating? Don't know but I changed my mind I am going to wrap the headers.

Got another assembly completed today........
