I'm starting this thread to follow up with the restoration of Bertha.
She is a 1971 Series 2a LWB.

All the body is pretty beaten up and in need of a lot of love, but challenge accepted and let's see when I will manage to complete her

after having the car for a month in another city I finally got myself to bring it closer, rented a space where to keep it and soon get the works started.

for this rebuild I won't be going through the purist approach.
below is the reference for the stance I want to achieve
what ripercussion would this setup bring. anyone had any experience?

i would be fitting a/t and not m/t tyres, and higher fuel consumption would not be an issue because anyway its a car that would be used sporadically

just wondering on the mechanical part what parts I would need to upgrade too

I found this heater set from a Series 3.
from my research it should work just fine with the last production of the Series 2a, is that correct?
