Seems there is not much interest on this one......................

Well I started with the rockers and rocker shafts today........

It's going slow but I am not in a big rush anyway..

Don't worry we are all watching and brilliant you want to share it with us all

Not boring. Keep the pics and updates coming. Always good to see other RRC's being done up.

Wow! what a find mate! agree with previous comments, make it ya own but keep those great classic looks.
Can only assume that the fantastic condition is down to the fact that you guys dont get salted roads out there, looks in great shape for the age.
Enjoying the thread, just love seeing stuff rstored and cared for...must be getting soppy in me old age :) :)

Looks good rebuilding my v8 aswell, got same timing chain aswell, you get your bits from rimmer?

Yes mate from Rimmer, I also got a few things from Britpart, waiting very patiently for them to arrive, seem it will be here Wednesday/Thursday.........then the fun starts.

You got that correct mate, no salt roads on this side of the pond.

For the guys following this.....i am looking to buy a workshop manual for my Rangy, the only thing I am interested in the manual is the wiring diagrams, could you please point me to the correct spot that is worth it's money please.

Thanx for that, the reason for the wiring diagrams is for me converting to carburettor, and I am selling my EFI harness so I need to sort some wiring to work with my carby. I don't want to waste money buying a manual and then find it was a bit useless.

What I have been lead to believe is that the efi loom is separate to the main loom so should be able to remove it and the engine still work (starter alternator and coil)

Ahhhhh that is interesting, there is a connector under the dash I had to disconnect, I have not investigated what and where it's going but thought by the placement of it there could be some signals to and from the engine and instrument cluster that run along that connector.

But if you are correct that would be awesome.

These are my baby's rocker shaft's before, during, and after assembly, ready for work.
So most of my parts arrived just the exhaust system still to arrive but that wont stop me from starting assembly.

These are some of my parts that arrived, someone made a negative comment about Britpart products, I have used the brand for many years and never had a quality issue.
Or was I just lucky?

The theory with Britpart usually concerns metal on metal moving parts eg bearings etc. I have Britpart HD springs and they are absolutely fine.
