I Know :( wish I'd gone with someone that was recommended to me! he was a few hundred pounds more but I had been told his work was good... I googled 'Mr Mig' and no bad reviews came up, like i said he seemed nice, seemed to know what he was talking about.. hence why i went with him.

wont be making the same mistake again!

he should have braced the floor there as the seat has to go back in there.

Get on all the sites he';s advertised on and leave ****e feedback. that'll hurt his business no end/

Snigger :D

Was I right on the cost estimate ;) ? Would have expected a lot better work for £27 an hour!

well I can't imagine for an 'experienced welder the job would have taken any longer than 5 days going full time - say 5 days max doing 6/7 hours a day thats 35/40 hours tops - divided by 950 works out at minimum just over £23 an hour

he didn't even bother moving rear wheel arch carpets like he said he would, I stripped everything out for him to be 'helpful' and this is the thanks I get for trying to help him out.

Go on all the places that show up when you put his name in google, yahoo and ask Jeeves and leave a review. He'll not get much work.

indeed.. I don't think customer satisfaction is his bag though to be honest.

shame he's been so short sighted, had he have gone the extra mile and done what was asked of him he would have got repeat work off of myself and I would have also recommended him to all of my family and friends.

so in theory over the next few years he could have earned 4x out of me alone what he just took home.

Looks like I'm going to have to if he ignores me! had this have been my main vehicle and all of this mot work the vehicle may not have still been road worthy and to many people that amount of money would really hurt the wallet as did it me!

Just feel ripped off, parents keep saying 'he's done the work'

like I keep trying to explain he may have done the work but to a poor standard and he's left off things in his opinion 'didnt need doing' even though this was factored into the original quote.

should anyone want welding work done make sure you use a reputable welder or a garage -

not Mr Mig

I calculated 35 hours so was close :p

pretty sure if he see's this feedback a tyre or two will be going flat on one of our vehicles

And he can'r get to work if someone torches his work vehicle..

as long as you don't leave too many specifics in the review he int gonna have a clue who left it.
