In the barn next to mine, I have spotted a really small round stainless sink, which I am going to incorporate somewhere into my storage and will use a water container on the roof rack with a hose to feed the sink with sun warmed/ boiled/ scalding water.

Damnit, I want some snow!

My 90 should be back on the road in the next few days, so hoping we will get some then :)

Just thought. Im getting lockers and HD shafts for my challenge truck. But theyll also fit my disco :D

Morrocco recovery service sorted :D

Unless I get stuck :(

Do you have standard 90 diffs/axles? On our last trip it was the 90 that ended up being towed out of the desert to the garage.

We will see :D

I heard it was because it had non matching diffs, plus it was a fair bit older than mine...

Got a nice twin piston compressor today to be bolted inside, just have to make the hose a little longer so it can reach each tire, get it bolted in and permanently wired in, shamefully it's a Britpart one, but actually looks quite robust. Next stage is a split charge relay for the additional battery and inverter, can't decide on the location of the bloody fridge though, in the cab and it's easy to access, but will spew loads of heat into the cabin, put it in the buck and that then buggers up my draw and storage design, oh well, I will sort it at some point.
Just have to pop a new front hub on this week as I snapped a couple of bolts in it fitting new HD drive flanges and by the looks of things somebody has previously buggered a thread already, I have a virtually new set of 90 shocks and steering damper removed from a 2014 90 that I bought in error if anybody wants them for a £100.

Fitted a Terrafirma roof console the other day to mount a CB and give more storage, and I would like to announce that whilst the actual console is good all the fixings and mounting plates were the worst quality I have seen for quite a while and I had to make a new mounting plate and replace all the fixings with that of non Chinese monkey metal origin, but its fitted now, and I managed to avoid having a stroke or burning it whilst fitting it, well just.

Wow, you are properly sorted!

I am going to have to do a lot of the fitting out of mine after christmas. Got the roof rack sorted now though.

How much was the compressor?

I'm putting the fridge near the seats so I can get a cold drink while I am driving.

Think I have sorted out a spare rover diff and complete set of half shafts :)

Oh, and I haven't been impressed with anything terrafirma on my build, hopefully the shocks will last...

Got back at 2am this morning after leaving Morocco Sunday pm - will post some detail later - some I will post by email as a bit sensitive for open network - if you think the desert is arid and dry think again have never seen so much water and white/yellowy mud - like a waterfall from the sky massive flooding everywhere and roads washed out and this was well south into southern Morocco - after lots of trips with no trouble the 110 had quite a lot of problems - ever seen raging torrents and waterfalls in the desert!!.

We will see :D

in the beginning it had matching diffs but the rear broke and was replaced with a none matching one. In Between the front broke or it might have been the half shaft.
Diffs on 90's are Land Rover ones. On older 110's the rear is a Salisbury which are much stronger I'm told. I also have a Salisbury on the front. If you take it easy the LR ones should be fine. Anyway, Sarah can give you a push in between showers.

How am I going to borrow your tire inflator if its bolted in?

I was beginning to get worried about you. Glad your back. Will look forward to seeing your post. Hope nothing seriously wrong with your 110.

+1 It sounds interesting!

I'm not sure I understand taking it easy :D I'll get Sarah working on body building!

I'm putting the fridge near the seats so I can get a cold drink while I am driving. If its a compressor fridge it will produce a lot of heat though.

I was advised to stick with standard shocks for Morocco by Mansfield 4x4.

I have 4 new genuine shocks and a steering damper to fit at some point along with front HD LR springs to level the 110 up. Spent more on genuine LR stuff than Old Man Emu would have cost, but like you said it's easier in the end, plus I will have 4 good spares plus a steering damper.
