Just spoken to Dave from Hull4x4, a nice chap, and the low down on Frickley is leave numerous emails and voice mail messages and then live in hope.
So it looks like it's not that they hate us but just that they're a bit rubbish at getting in touch.

Out of the 3 that I contacted so far there has been no reply whatsoever, a little disappointing really.

I'm wondering if the easiest way to do it is find the cost of hireing a whole site and then start estimating numbers to work out a cost of entry/camp/P&P rather than trying to do it the other way around.I know there's going to be an element of risk but I'm sure a few of us can share that
