Hi
I have a range rover 2002 L322 4.4 V8 Vogue lpg/petrol

Lpg has developed a fault which has become very annoying..
it randomly beeps and then switches back to fuel.
This happens weather its full/half/ or nearly empty. Sometimes you can drive all day no issue sometimes after 20 mins 15 mins or an hour. Totally intermittent

Any ideas on where to start ??

Thanks

Dodgy level sensor - blocked filters (liquid and gas) - low gas pressure to gas injector rail

MAP sensor (if fitted) with loose pipes!

Thanks for the responce
Just ordered the gas filters tonight.

Any advice or help is greatly appreciated

Water flow to reducer. If Tee'd off heater pipes and the Tees are too far from the reducer it can ice up due to the high-to-low gas pressure. My reducer is about 30 inches from where they were Tee'd off the heater pipes. No real flow so the LPG only played nicely after the engine bay had warmed up. Swapped the Tees out: replaced one with 2 elbows that gave a flow in and flow out of the reducer, swapped the other for a straight pipe as it wasn't needed anymore. Much happier now.

Yep.

This happened with mine, the dash switch for the lpg switch has a little plug on the back and had come loose. vibrations when driving where causing the switch to lose connection

I would love it if it was that simple unfortunately i am not that lucky

However another good point to check !!
Cheers looks like its going to be a start at the back and work your way forward kind of job.

Will wait till later on in the week now as the snow has arrived in the northeast and plenty of rain.
