Don't come in ere much for fear of catching summat and repair bills escalating.

Same way I don't go in the Tratter section for risk of catching summat and me motor turning to dust.

But I've donned a mask to read through this thread and shall report back that with winter coming on we need to strengthen the fencing round the Freelander section to keep the snowflakes, girls blouses and general weirdos from the other forums out. :D

While I'm in here though, does anyone know what a MAF does? :rolleyes:

Passive coil came in maybe '97 or '99. Security on EDC and Thor is slightly different for immobilisation and key but don't think the EKA is. I may well be wrong though.

You are. 1996. EDC and Thor are same Gems is different. But only in respect of ECM/BECM sync. Nothing to do with passive immobiser.
