Me and roy have been chatting to one of the organisers of http://www.bristolandwestlandrovershow.com/index.html His name is Mark Pattenden and he is a member on Landyzone as Discovery2man and he should now have a nice shiny orange username.

If you have a look on the website you will notice that the show isn't the normal commercialised show, it's for charity BLESMA

Basically Mark likes to set himself a bit of a challenge, and for this show he wants to have the record for largest Land rover gathering in one place. The Blesma challenge is to get more than 1000 Land Rovers into the shape of a Land rover for the record.

We are planning to have a club stand at the the show, and from speaking to Mark it sounds like it could be a very good weekend!.

So the question is, who is interested in having a LandyZone club stand? On the forms it says 8 vehicles per club, but Mark says that if we can raise more, he will find a way to accomodate us.
So have a look at the website, see what you think and Vote in the poll.

Hi all just a quick question, do you have to camp all weekend or could I turn up on Saturday and camp saturday and Sunday night?

yu can turn up Saturday. But Not sure if they'll let you bring ya landy into the show area once the gates have opened. so would need to get there before it opens or park on carpark until public have gone home.

I'm pretty sure everyone on the stand has to be in for 9:00 each day

before toddling off to her hotel, which is only eight miles away along dark, unlit, narrow country lanes which she has never driven before.:eek:

Never thought that through really  somehow the likelihood of me ever finding my way there and back seems a little unlikely - Oh a campers life for me

Her Arse int the problem.. It's her peaches. hit a bumpy section and they're like a pair of demolition balls swinging around inside the landy

He he he he..... Kai asked whether he needed to bring his crash helmet for protection seeing as how you would be driving across the field.... don't worry I hit him with a pillow...:D:D
