Me and roy have been chatting to one of the organisers of http://www.bristolandwestlandrovershow.com/index.html His name is Mark Pattenden and he is a member on Landyzone as Discovery2man and he should now have a nice shiny orange username.

If you have a look on the website you will notice that the show isn't the normal commercialised show, it's for charity BLESMA

Basically Mark likes to set himself a bit of a challenge, and for this show he wants to have the record for largest Land rover gathering in one place. The Blesma challenge is to get more than 1000 Land Rovers into the shape of a Land rover for the record.

We are planning to have a club stand at the the show, and from speaking to Mark it sounds like it could be a very good weekend!.

So the question is, who is interested in having a LandyZone club stand? On the forms it says 8 vehicles per club, but Mark says that if we can raise more, he will find a way to accomodate us.
So have a look at the website, see what you think and Vote in the poll.

Hahaha.. Morning Campers :D what yu planning on sleeping on?? if using an airbed bring a thick blanket or camping mat. to put on top of airbed. All that cold air under ya arse will suck the heat out of ya body.

Use a good sleeping bag not a duvet or better still a sleeping bag and a Duvet. and remember

There's no such thing as bad weather only bad clothing. I've been in the pikey wagon when the inside temp was minus 10C. and was toastie warm cos I had a good sleeping bag and 2 duvets. Getting up was a bit of a shock though

No , no no, am planning the cure to all camping joys :- coldness, dampness, noise, discomfort, lack of bed, lack of en-suite facilities, lack of walls , lack of room service- its called several bottles of red, copious crisps and chocolate and a lie in the next day to sleep it off :D

I recon il bring a couple of boxes of red aswell :)

Iv been selling everything that's not bolted down, so I don't have to sell the disco or the rangie :D

I was seriously debating taking the Wendy House down, but seeing as it's actually my house now it would be waaay to much hassle.. Back to a tent will be a shock to the system..
