You are braver than me!
I've seen those kits but in the end chickened out and found the isolating valves.
In our place here a lot of them are in the airing cupboard along with the hot water cylinder etc.
Maybe if the watter in the pipes is already cold....
Well done mate!:):):)

The pipes were hot feeds to the taps, I did make sure the were not hot as id need to work faster haha
After using the kit im sure it could be done even if the pipe was warm id use 2 of the foam pads to
give me more time. Took about 12 mins to defrost after id removed the pad. Tbh I though whats the worst
that can happen.......

I get 2 HAMMERS & flatten the pipe 🤣 🤣 (now I know you've got a smile) 🤣🤣

Well done and thanks for showing us it can be trusted!!

I've got to change the track rod on the Disco 2, when it stops raining, now, hum. how many hammers will I need ???!!! 🤣🤣🤣

I can have a measure on Monday. What measurements do you need? Can’t look tomorrow cos the owners will be about 😳
Ooh that would be great mate
Height of grill panel at sides and middle ignoring cut outs for steering.
Height of bonnet from wings
Bonnet to top of bulkhead
Bottom of door to top of door at roof line
And very important, depth of that panel above the door, I've got the width.
And bottom of wing(not bulkhead) to top of bulkhead, I have windscreen measurements to put on top of bulkhead.

I would be very grateful and owe you a pint 🙂

Always a problem with that stuff all different grades and and different manufacturers also temperature has a big impact but it is easy to cut to shape looking good keep the picture's coming 👍
Filling now

It’s a soft top so not sure about a panel above the door

I do too, it's a big bugre an all, I even have one of those magnetic wristbands.

But, typically it is full of stuff and sits in the left hand rear locker.

Rolleyes doesn't cover it really!!!

Typically I would use it for small bits. But for things as big as wheel bolts etc I just park them in a"safe" place.

This is only the second time in my life I lost a locking wheel nut socket.

The other time it was for the D1 300tdi. I searched like mad, even raked up all the gravel, sifted through it and put it all back. Bought a noo one and a few years later just suddenly saw it sitting there on top of the gravel, not far from where I had looked, if not actually in the area. Flipped me off a bit I don't mind saying!!

I stand it on the trolley jack bed ...
