Had a productive day 3 trees down branches all chipped for mulch, was --4 last night but bright sunshine all day good working weather not to hot, are cat has had flu for 2 days but getting better he keeps sneezing and watery eyes 😹
Were they all soft woods or summat?
When we take trees down we saw them into logs and take off the twigs for kindling.
But then I am not talking about suge great ones, rather fruit trees all of which we can burn in our log burner.
So I spec you is just gonna burn the big bits!

I had hoped that they'd be stored on the SIM in some way, but they wasn't.
I'm sure you know a way of doing things like this .....
But me no techno savvy, Massa!
If your phone is backed up to the cloud the process is easy because you synchronise using google.
Or, you can use Myphone Explorer (free software) to create a full back up and then use the same software on the new phone to restore from your PC etc. to the new phone.

wot MEEE!!!
🤣 🤣 🤣

The cloud?
I think W has one of those but then she is with APple. I don't have one, I don't think.
The Myphone thingy sounds quite handy but my phone has to be seen to be believed how little I use it.
My list of contacts from my older phone only filled the back of a small envelope! (I discarded a couple)
TBH I still use an address book. Old fashioned I know.

But if I had to copy the list of email addresses from one pooter to another, which I'll have to look at soon, that'll be a bigger task, so I think I'll try and find out how to save it and transfer it.

We have a My Book live thingy running all the time but I don't know if it would have these on it. So much flipping stuff to discover.
But thanks for the ideas.:):):)

It is flipping hot working outside here.
I have been working in the garding, one of my favourite tasks.
The gardener having trimmed back the huge laurel hedges we have I went to mulch it using our brilliant and powerful Bosch mulcher. But it decided to throw a wobbly. there are two switches on it. One switches it on and off, the other turns the direction of the spiral mulching tool. they turn round so that they can interlock to prevent anyone trying top change direct while the motor is running. Well the on/off knob came off. I managed to get it back on again and for a time it worked. Then it came off again. I realised I could make the motor turn by pushing on the sort of button thing that was under the switch knob, but that meant having to hold it down and wasn't ideal or comfortable.
The knob is now back on but the switch although it clicks no longer works. I have tested the power from the plug but have yet to go further which would mean wasting the good weather, so I gave up and filled bags by hand, leaving out the ones that need cutting up, then I unearthed all the ones the gardener had left over the past year or maybe even longer. The grass etc has composted very well!!!
So after my coffee I'll be loading all bags into the Disco and getting rid of them.
Which still leaves a big heap of laurel plus two of those bags designed to be shifted with a hYab that gardeners WILL insist on using. So I suppose I'll have to empty those into bags with a shovel, as to dump them our dump requires you to to climb stairs up the side of the dumpster things then heave them over the rail. I could pull up maybe half a one depending on weight but can't guarantee to be able to heave them without making a mess or dropping the bag into the dumpster, unless I flip about tying a handle to things. Grrr!
It'll teach me to leave things so long. But who wants to garden in the rain?
Also have to go to Wimborne to close down a Santander account I haven't used in decades.
Have a good afternoon folks!!:):):)

Afternoon folks:).

So we had a bit of a cold snap and some of our Air BnB guests seem to have been caught out and stayed a few extra nights, wonder if they are youngsters and will now find a new home here, it would be nice to have some close. Might sort out the frog parties🤔.

Stacked the first load of wood next load coming tomorrow.

Laser leveled the next section of ceiling in the East wing, going to get the grinder and bashing hole tools out tomorrow.

Well, been to look at an 05 Freelander today
Much loved by previous owner, only sold it cause his wife didn't like it.
Nice TD4 with thick black oil (read treacle) on bottom of the stick
Sloppy clutch pedal near bottom of travel (cause it's been stood) and two near bald tyres (there's a good one on the spare).
Propshaft removed (for economy) and what looked like paint on seats
Rest of it was fine, good underneath and in engine bay, dry and clean engine
I walked away as I don't want to be doing lots of work on it

A well looked after hippo then  lots of excuses to cover lack of care.
Better luck next time, you may find an honest 1.

THAY are hornbeam branches over 3inc we cut up for burning under that I mulch (chip ) as to much work involved for no gain, just a lot of Ash from the bark all in 1mt lengths will cut into four when seasoned as its easy to carry them about and out of the Forrest
