No idea what is going on with Santander, they tell me I closed the account last November. I had a vague idea this might be right, the lady couldn't tell me where the money went so I went off assuming it had been paid into my normal account.

But before throwing all the paperwork away I had a look and found a small slip of paper which says it was transferred to another Santander account. ??? Did I somehow move it out of that one?
TBH, no flipping idea.
Currently holding and listening to the beeps!

And have found my missing SCMV 6 mm bit on my gravel drive thanks to my trusty metal detector!

...Update from my lad now he is stuck in Washington DC by the turned back flight from San-Fran to LHR.
Apparently they (United Airlines) will "try" to get him a flight to the UK on Sunday (no promises).
He has been interviewed by a bloke from the Times.

Handy avvin this fred. Just looked back. My hippo's insurance was 617 sovs. It auto renewed so I logged in and gorra 44 sov discount to stop me leaving. Limited to 5k miles. Value 15k sovs. MY15 top spec.

Tell him not to accept a refund. If he does they won't cover cost of hotels and gerrin back. Contract terminates wivver refund.
