We had a glorious day today, spent most of the day helping the dive crew & welding inspectors, doing load tests
a whole load of time & wages for countless people for a 30 second lift. They have a deep sea dive frame that we
put 25ton on it, 2t weights & 4 x 250kg weights. We were getting to the stage of boredom so started messing about...

My mate said them 250kg ones on the back of the lorry I bet I can shift one by lifting it but couldnt get his hand in
the the space. So left it for 1/2 n oor. We slung them on the frame but when we were taking them off my mate said
if I can move this weight & you cant I'll be the strongest lad in the yard so I'll never hear the end of it. I slung it up
& wrapped it round my wrists & shifted it an inch...then he said right then & tried his hardest then his back popped
Then couldnt stand up now he's in hospital had an xray got mussel damage now off work :( Kids these days eh

Seeing as how I have now been told that my ancient old Motorola V171 will not be viable later on this year, I took its Sim card out and put it in my Alcatel that 3 have decided to switch off. Or to be more clear, to switch 3g off.
Well it now works with the Tesco SIM. On 3g. :):):)
So that proves that this mobile is unlocked and has a good chance of working in Frogland as they are being a lot slower about switching 3g off. Good news and it means I can prolly stick a Frog Sim in it.
Meanwhile I will be getting a new or second-hand phone that'll handle 5g and a PAYG Tesco Sim that will run with "Lite" as that is what will suit me best.
Spent too much time on this, including writing down all the phone numbers I had on both phones. Boring. but necessary.
Ordered a new hub for the front offside on the Disco as that is the only hub I haven't changed and it has been making a tiny noise for a while.
I will also be doing an oil and filters change on it.
Having been looking carefully at all the D2s I can see it would appear that my front bumper is actually one of the better ones despite the previous owner having caught a tree stump under part of it. So I am going to devote a little time to sourcing the other plastic bits that need fixing or replacement. Which is why I will also be ordering one of those plastic welding tools I mentioned before.
W is chafing at the bit to start doing more strenuous stuff, which means me having to be careful with her. So of course I have to do things she would normally do to stop her doing them! Which of course takes more time than if I did it all myself.
Still, making progress.:):):)

Laborious but writing down all contacts and re-entering them on a different phone guarantees data integrity unless you make a mistake... plus you've got a record of them if the phone breaks/SIM gets corrupted etc.

You are going to be flat out for a time , did the b-----s pinch much !!
Thanks, such is life, flat out for ever it seems.

Had a huge amount of rain lately and now as a result of driving rain saturating a hillside we've had a fairly nasty landslip. Not very big but some of the rocks are going to take some moving.

Luckily the burglar didn't take a lot, in and out in 5 mins I reckon, I only left the house unattended for a hour to have a sandwich (its the building site house). Prolly a squatter in a house which has nothing, only stole bedding, blankets & cushions etc. Took food and medication from another house nearby.
