Been put back again by the bloody weather. Got everything seam sealed this morning then it rained :(

Primer tomorrow morning providing the weather is good then paint tomorrow evening :) Can then fit body mounts, doors and interior Saturday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YEY!!!!

What a ****ing long drawn out process!! I never thought I'd see the day. 1 down 1 to go!!! PARTY, PARTY, PARRTY!!!

Fitted the rear shocks and springs today :D

Got some coats on paint on over the course of today :D :D :D Will need a few more tomorrow but it has now started raining and I've hung up tools for today.

Well chuffed..... providing the door lines up when we put it back on lol!
 
I am proposing another maintenance day at some point. I can host 3 vehicles to be worked on at any one time. If it is of interest then shout!!
 
A Good day to day fixing the Disco, Thank for your help Matt, Got the Rear Body Mounts sorted, a couple of problems with it but we got there in the end, also fitted new Clear Bumper Lamps, and put some reinforcement in the bumper and cut some Hi Lift "T's" in, :D:D:D


just got to get it back together for the MOT now..

Ok, so the first photos of the boot floor...... :(

And a sorted inner wing :). Only 1 patch to it thankfully as in Stu's photos above. Got it all seam sealed and primed this afternoon. Just finished putting a coat of top on.

Body mounts are now bolted to the chassis - fairly ok, a little swearing and hi-lift action and it was sorted :blabla: It will be drivable tomorrow!!!!!!!!

After Tuesday's meet at Tolgate, I'll rip up the boot floor and sort that hopefully for the weekend, depending on work :cool: Then it'll be onto the other sill :doh:

sorry didnt look like it in piccy,im in two minds wether to do my own m redg which i built out of bits 10 years ago ,body was complete though,chassis perfect and running gear but alot of rot front to back in floor etc

Go for it. It is simple to do - just fiddly and frustrating. Just mine has taken so long as I've done a day here and a few hours there.... If I'd have spent 3 days in the shop at work, I could have done everything a lot quicker.

Alll this welding going on looks like I'm going to get my front dumb irons and hole in passenger outrigger sorted, might have to have a chat with you matt next time we meet as it's been a while since I did any welding :D

Chris defo go for the tray back that would look the nuts mate:)
