Hi Mark, this aint a sales pitch, but if any of your guys want the waffle boards i will keep them a set or two back, and you can pay as and when, because i am going to start to sell them.
£ 45 quid a set 1000 x310x50mm. got five sets to shift.

The next SLROC driving day is the 17th Sept.
I'm sure you would be able to shift a few sets there (not sure on rules?), but their forum has a for sales section.

BTW who is planning on going. I'm actually free (for a change) and will be making the most of pre MOT landy fun.

Matt, don't put that welder down just yet ;)

OK Matt, lie down take deep breaths, and visualize tranquil places. There feeling better already. NO!! STOP thinking about welding, think about big breasted girls with tight hot pants [wielding a gas axe].
Scuse me just got to pop out for a minute.

Thats better, now you have his attention.

I'm going to lay my new carpet tomorrow in the bedroom. Got 3 alcoves and a chimney breast to play round. Should make a nice peaceful day :) No welding - I promise

Looking good geoff. Only thing from an H&S point of view is petrol cans high up as petrol vapour is heavier than air. They should be on the floor lol. Got a bollocking at the workshop for doing that ha ha ha.

You can come and have some rusty disco envy if you like. I'll be here at the weekend with Stu we'd both recommend you came over for a few hours to look at the amount of work involved ;)

My in-laws have said I can leave it at their's whilst i weld it.
Just keeping an eye open for a 2nd hand mig.
I think / hope I only need to get one arch done. The rest will hopefully pass and then I might start a complete overhaul in the spring (only time of year its ever dry now).

Where did you & Stu get your panels?

I got my panels from the local Land Rover dealer.

I think all of Stu's came from Landy Part.

Just make sure we don't bid against each other, have lost out on a couple of migs last week.

I am going, as I should Have the MOT by then:rolleyes::rolleyes:, I'll be ther on the Saturday as well as its RR Training.

I will end up getting my gas axe

Did I hear the words Gas Axe......

Nice work shop Geoff I now got workshop envey...

I've been a bit naughty . Woke up early hours so I thought I'd get the carpet down. That's done now so I sat twiddling my thumbs and slowly shuffled outside....... and got the welder out

Inner sill is now sorted thank fook. So just left to do now is put the outer arch on, weld in seat brackets then clean up and seam seal - then I can slap some red oxide on and paint :D

I'll wait a little while before I start the other side I think. Have some fun in it to cheer me up :)

I'm planning to be down at the ladies driving challenge at the start of September, letting women drive it
