End of play today. Got to clean up then get off and do some real work

Just got to cap of both ends of the sill then finish slapping around the seam sealer. Will then be able to pop the arch panel on then get painting

Thank **** for that........... the end is in sight.

I've been welding a Fiat Punto today for an MoT on Friday. Got back at 2000hrs and started on the Disco again. I've got the rear sill end cap on and rear arch on. Just got to pop the front end cap on in a minute then I'll tidy up and it'll be ready for seam sealer and paint tomorrow :D

Collected the sill body mount bushes from Landypart early this morning so they're ready to go on when Stu gets his ass over here with his hi-lift...... hint, hint :) I'll see you at the weekend all being well!

Brian, I dare say you may be right about my blue smoke. I think my head has a tiny leak near one of the water ways :(

When I've got this Disco put back together, I'm getting Landypart to pressure test it and dye test it then if it is going...... Do you fancy helping me?? :D You've done one before so I could do with a hand!

unless its cracked in ports all others on face will show usually between valves and would only leak water the only oil runs up near front drivers side head bolt,i never seen or done a crack test both pressure or other that shows up what cant be seen

Just going by what the guy said. I haven't looked at it yet to be honest. I need to get the interior back in then I can look at what is going on.

Basically oil level has risen by 3/4 inch on dipstick and coolant has dropped in the expansion tank...... if that means anything

when you get time drop sump plug if its water it will come out first ,then probable hgf ,or crack would have visible signs, diesel would be lift pump or injector

The fact the coolant is lowering would suggest a coolant problem so I will check oil from sump when I get a chance.

I haven't started it for about 6 weeks if that makes a difference  Could every last drop of oil fallen out of the engine into the sump as I did an oil change prior to parking it up.

That looks fun. :D

Its my regular site been a member for about 4 years, can be a bit extreme in places some deep mud and water in areas, just follow some one who knows it dont enter any water without seeing some one go through first. Its most drivable at the moment as it is drier but very overgrown so can be a bit scratchy.
I drove a SJ413 around most of it for a few years it was standard other than some mud tyres for a year or so never damaged it. The 90 goes around fine its club meet this Sunday 14th if any one wants to go.
