I had a lovely weekend with some mates on the Under 21s (yes I know we need a new name!!) stand at the LRO Show. Great weather and great mates.

Even got invited onto the Empire Tuning stand for a day :D was a fair bit of interest in the ole 110 :)

The 42L Bearmach fridge was brilliant, had it running from Friday morning for work. Was on from 730am - 2pm just battery, no issue. 2 hour drive to LRO, then the 110 was pretty much off til Sunday afternoon at about 3. It was a little slow to start but did fire up happily!

Was a smashing show weren't it, I was there on the Sunday with the Mrs and little one for a lot of walking, I don't remember seeing the Empire stand but then again I wasn't really looking at that sort of stuff as my old mechanical lump just needs 12V+ to the solenoid lol

Did you get any offers for it? I bet there was a £20k+ bid on it lol

Yeah! One of the best ive been to recently! Was a right laugh!

:D no offers at the show but a fella in the BP did offer me £20k then and there, jog on :p

Was on the corner by Paranoid. Had my landy back by then enjoying the off rosd course!

They got a bit naff and samey but now that there seem to be a few less each year they appear to be making a bit of an effort to put on a show worth going to.

In between moving house im getting the split charge in!

Durite voltage sense system with a 95ah Exide Marine battery

Damn tight fit. Had to shave the bottom mounts off  but they fit!

Relays mounted just need to reconnect everything in the correct way

Woooo split charge all fitted! Working as it should! Very happy indeed. Not a hard job but rather time consuming to get somewhat neat.

Should be able to run the fridge for 3 - 4 days without issue now :)

Nice, I ran a T-Max split charge system for years before I upgraded to the dual alternator system I have now.

Thats what I was going to get first but it was full of features id likely never use. Also couldnt find a nice spot for the monitor :p

Annnd packing begins for Land Rover Party 2019!

Worst week for it TBH as this is the tail end of some storm or other so I am told.

How is the fuel consumption on that new transferbox compared with last year?

So anyone want any pics of the New Defender?

Over 2000 miles to and from Land Rover Party 2019 only minor breakdowns.

Mates JE 5L V8 lost reverse, 5th, coolant, split rad, dodgy ignition - interesting driving down the motorway with one hand in the dash holding the ignition live in place with one hand!

I broke a front half shaft from being an idiot and had a leaking rear rear flange due to bolt rattling loose :eek:

Luckily i brought spares!

Dispite the issues its been a brilliant trip with brilliant people.
