And the aftermath

Was a great weekend in France as usual!

Ill get some more pics and vids up during the week!

No clutch issues which was good, was really giving it some in areas too.

The 1.3 ATB is fantastic, some hills I forgot to hit difflock but it didnt really make a difference. Still flew up without issue. Most of the place was pretty easy now with the big power and new diffs.

The middle ATB was especially fun in the sand bowl, with the TC off, flew round there without once getting even a little stuck. Got some nice sideways action too :D

I reckon a front ATB and it will be almost unstoppable!

Really pleased!

FINALLY got round to buying a new genuine door seal for the rear. Unlike the cheap versions this one is actually a perfect fit! :D

Adjusted the door again as i had to really slam it to close it! Still a hard push but closes better so im happy.:)

Also fitted a couple countersunk M8s to hold the door card on better!

Thanks :)

D3 did pretty well tbf! Had a few issues with DSC kicking it and cutting all the power other than that did well.

Cheers

There’s a DSC button on the dashboard so it can be turned off, , when it’s disabled it’s opens cross over valves in the air blocks , the suspension will then act like a live axle system, ;)

But bet they already knew that, lol

Great to hear the new 1.3 transferbox lived up to your expectations mate.

Looks like you had a blast :)

Yup but when giving it some it turna itself back on to "prevent damage"

That’s interesting , but Shouldn’t do, unless they didn’t turn the terrain response system on

Next time , disable DSC, use Command Shift, and switch to Sand mode

Eye think yer'll find DSC can't be disabled as it's against the rules. They reduce it as opposed ter disable it.

It can be set up so it stays off temporarily, cant remember the speed limit that it reactivates itself

As soon as the engine is turned off and back on again it automatically resets itself

Afaik you can have it mapped so when its off it stays off

Haven’t heard of that, ive just heard from many other D3 owners that it can indeed be disabled fully on a temporary bases, think it’s also something to do with having the low/ high transfer box and how the computers software is written

Same with suspension , there’s systems to stop it dropping from off road height at higher speed

Everyday is a school day , thks as always

Eye dun't know how they do this as it's against the rules/law ter disable it fully. LR won't but a third party will as they won't be bothered about type approval etc. At very low speeds it won't work anyway but trying ter disable it is just bonkers.
