Why did my britpart headgasket go on the bottom of number 3 cylinder in to a water chamber on my 1991 discovery after 15000 miles?

cos the strength of the material wasn't able to cope with the pressures and/or heat generated in the cylinder or the thickness and squashabilty of the gasket wasn't up to the required standard to cope with any small imperfections on either the head surface or on the block deck
 
Conclusion: Dont by cheap headgasket's cos they not last and cause you a load of hassel!!!

So sir slob will my cambelt bought from the same supplier in matlock last its service life?
