Hello Twice Nightly,

Further to your initial thread we hope that the matter has been settled amicably and the full refund acceptable.- No

We should mention that the events culminating in your cancellation were due to non-receipt of your No Claims Bonus - Proof of no claims bonus was emailed to you on the last day of your deadline, you acknowledged this at the time.

It is unfortunate that you sought to cancel - I didn't seek to cancel, you cancelled the policy because I refused to pay a further £28, I refused to pay because you had received the proof of no claims within the time stated.

Dan, please get your facts correct before discussing my affairs on a public forum without my permission, however I do appreciate you bringing this thread to the top again so hopefully more people will read it and not make the same mistake as I did.

i was insured with flux when i had my lexus and when i got the disco they wanted £300 just to change vehicles on the policy when i only had weeks left on it so i left and they kept a years no claims the bastards

Hello again,

Further to the response, apologies if you feel that this is rumbling on but we feel that the matter and the cause of the issue be addressed again.

The policy was incepted on 16/9 through Adrian Flux. Like any good intermediary we would attempt to obtain the No Claims Bonus on behalf of our client by contacting the previous insurer. We did this by phoning Direct Line on 4th October. They confirmed that the bonus was in fact still being used on another policy until April.

There does remain some confusion over No Claims Bonus – if you only have 1 set it can only be used on 1 vehicle. We do understand that due to administrative processes there may be a time lapse in getting proof of NCB to us and we offer 30 days grace period. Again we rang the previous insurer on 2/11 and they wouldn’t confirm NCB but advised the policy had been cancelled.

We did finally receive details of NCB entitlement on 9/11, but it was not available from the inception of our policy. As a result, for the period of time in which it was being applied elsewhere and was not available for our policy the premium was amended and an additional premium generated. Had the NCB been available from the inception of our policy and not some time into it (46 days). We would expect any other broker / insurer to do the same in the same situation.

It is unfortunate that we have had to lose you as a customer based around these events and I believe a member of staff did contact you to discuss and clarify any matters.

Finally if you wished to contact us or if you wish PM Dan via the forum we’d happily discuss further.

Kind Regards

Dan.

wow... that alone has re-confirmed that i will never use flux... have you never heard of confidentiality??? How can you discuss a former customers case on a open public forum for all to see?

''So two months motor insurance with Adrian Flux cost £172.00 and they didn't even wear a mask when taking it.''

I got 16 days insurance with 'quotemetoday' for £160.50 they refuse any refund.

not professonial.
Wen in deep hole stop digging

I've been with Adrian Flux for years. Car, van, Bike and house insurance. Can't fault them at all.
Lets remember, the OP failed to provide Adrian Flux with his no claims entitlement, within the time scale given.
Hardly Adrian Flux's fault the problems arose!

Flux.....you can keep most customers happy most of the time, but you cant keep all customers happy all the time.
