id been trying to force it as you do when it doesnt slip in nicely once youve got both engine and box perfectly aligned
So you thought you'd given it too much stick and so took it off to check. Hunch based on experience I guess, but good to know! ;)

Going off what I've read on LZ, I'm thinking an HD clutch kit is what I'm after. LINKY Anything better I should be looking for? I'm presuming everything I need for the clutch is in the kit. Should I buy a separate release bearing?

hD clutches tend to be nosier than standard from what I hear.....

Defo fit the HD release arm thats a given, as for the rest @jamesmartin could advise better.

that is true they can make the engine sound much mores knocky a std valeo clutch kit and hd release arm will more than suffice
Awesome. That's the way I'll go.
I'm off to take a picture for my next question, back shortly.

What's this bit called?

It's got a gasket behind it. Easy enough.
Does the rubber seal in the centre just push out to be replaced?

That is the crankshaft rear oil seal.....

It is a single unit, the rubber seal is integral to the frame.

Part number LUF100430G
