Yorkshire Dales Laning Weekend 19-21 July

New radiator is sat behind me, getting it on tomorrow.
Its fine round and about, it never gets fully up to temp from home to work, its after 5 miles (ish) its running hot, not overheating, but too hot for comfort.

all be better tomorrow, thinking of a mesh or summat behind the grill to protect my nice new radiator now

Just looked out of the window, weather is looking good here, might be a nice weekend :D:D

Get some jobs done on my Landy perhaps
 
ordered an oil temp guage as well, I had one on a 406, and it was brilliant, oil changes temp so much quicker than water, I could tell when it needed a service by the oil running temp

Sounds like a good idea, didn't know they run hotter when they need a service
 
as the oil breaks down with age/wear etc it gets a bit thinner, so doesn't lube quite the same, so get swarmer, at least thats how I see it :)
It didnt run too hot, but there was a noticable shift on the guage.
 
We have a Saturday route thanks to Paul and Neil :D:D

Now need to check the Sunday one. Have started a thread to see if anyone want to come out to check it.

Brilliant. And I have finally sorted the power socket in mine. Typing this on the laptop in the landy waiting for the horses to finish eating :D
 
Just took the Landy round a bit of the Sunday route to see if my new power supply would carry on working, it did :D:D

However I read the memory map a bit wrong and ended up driving down this fantastic lane with a great ford. Wouldn't have done it on purpose on my own, but it was great :D:D

can we decide what CB channel were going to be using on the saturday?? that way I can shout out when I get close, I get a pretty decent range on my rig :) got sues number too so can give you a ring when im in the area :)
