Disco 1 Yet another problem

So, thanks to you helpful people I've just successfully changed the bonnet release cable on my disco, so thanks for that!

However, when I drove it round from the back of my flat back to the front I had another problem! The throttle pedal suddenly has gone all light you barely need to press it, so I parked turned it off and had a play with my foot and found that the kickdown (it's an auto) has gone completely and the pedal is about 10 times lighter than normal. When it happened it almost felt like something went it was instant, so maybe a spring, problem is I've no idea where to start!

Any thoughts?

Cheers that's perfect, I went out to have a look before I went to work this morning and its all suddenly working fine...

The kickdown ends inside the suto box and isnt a right nice job to do. So hope it is spring for you and easy fix
