xenon light failure

I have had an intermittent problem with my offside xenon light on my 54 plate RR vogue Diesel.

The light fails, an error comes up "Check headlight dip" I switch on and off the switch and the light fires back up.

I havehad it in to the dealer, they found nothing wrong with the light then changed the igniter module.

The light is still playing up, you can actually see it flicker prior to going off

Not very pleasant on the motorway

Any idea what is going on??

Hi does anyone have a list of the recall notes for range rovers 2002- and on? The dealer wants to replace the headlight unit at 468 gbp + vat

i can only find these and these - nothing to do with headlights.

Thanks Mad hat man, the dealer is gooing to replace the light unit (468 + Vat) under the extended warranty. Will see if that fixes the problem !!
