My lights were high too after I put nightbreakers in, it was dazzling other drivers especially after I polished the headlights.

would it hurt to put an extra few Lbs/Psi of air in the back to help out a little with the level??

There's a nut you can put a spanner on behind each headlight and adjust to your hearts content, dead easy and no need for compressed air.

Unfortunately the lowest setting on that dial was still too high. It's perfect now though
