Hi all,
sorry its been a while since I updated the post..... so I had a new sensor ordered, and I have fitted that to replace the old broken one this afternoon; I got a data cable and the EAS unlock software and all seemed well, the car rose and shifted through the suspension settings as it should, but I really struggled to figure out how to calibrate the settings.
I had managed to clear the 35mph warning and the EAS lights had returned to normal. I took the car out for a drive, it was riding high but she hunkered down into highway mode etc so I thought I just needed to adjust the EAS height settings. Then, after 36 miles the EAS fault error came back, but no 35mph warning and the car remained on suspension and not bump stops.
Ive gotten home and plugged in the EAS software and I, hoping that someone mght be able to help me out with the settings and error code as I'm baffled!
the only error code that I get is 6. RR reading incorrect this is the ride height sensor that I have replaced.
I have input the following values in to the calibration tab - I know that they have written correctly as are displayed in the boxes after pressing the GET ALL button
FR FL RR RL
High 156 156 147 147
Standard 123 123 109 109
Motorway 107 107 107 107
Access 70 70 75 75
when in access mode the actual height measurements (centre wheel to centre arch) are:
FR 390MM
FL 410MM
RR 430MM
RL 430MM
when in standard mode the height measurements are:
FR 420MM
FL 430MM
RR 520MM
RL 510MM
So none of the figures seem to correlate, I cant seem to figure out the actual real world MM value of the EAS ride height calibration input values.
When I use the get height setting, the corner values are displayed as.
FL 70
FR 64
RL 99
RR 17
I have no idea where to go from here, and any advice would be greatly appreciated!!
