Where's the poll for 'I've got an L series and trust it like Graham Norton in a whore house'?
Would you trust your Gaylander TD4 to do a 1200 mile trip (mostly motorway) over 2-3 days?
What a stupid question (if you don't mind be saying so). This is the sort of question that used to be asked in the motoring journels in the 50's & 60's (just not the Gaylander bit) when cars were not so reliable or used to modern high mileages.
A modern vehicle is designed to travel many thousands of miles with nothing more than periodic checks (fluids, tyre pressures etc) and if you are putting a months worth of traveling into 2-3 days where is the problem???? It's hardly likey to think "oh I've driven too far today and I want a rest". If you personally have no faith in your vehicles reliability then get it sorted, it should provide reliable service between schedulled servicing intervals so if it doesn't then get it fixed.
By the way, just what IS a Gaylander, does it refer to the vehicle or the driver.
It was a sarcastic question, not intended to be serious. Hence the poll options. Looks like someone needs a sense of humour.
Oh i've got a sense of humour I keep it in a box under the stairs and let it out once a year, I find funny things incredibly confusing but you know what they say, sarcasm is the lowest form of wit.
Who's being sarcastic?
Still seems a strange thing to ask, if it wasn't a serious question for genuine answers (go on, you can admit it to me and I won't tell anyone)
You really think this was a serious thread?
and it certainly isn't amusing (I can't see Billy Connerly standing up in front of an audience and asking them the same question) then it seems a bit of a pointless task. Maybe someone has too much spare time on their hands, instead of typing inane messages maybe you should spend more time out in the garage putting right your unreliable vehicle?
I don't own a gaylander so I don't need to spend all my time fixing it.
"Eeza gaylanderer, 99% of them don't have a sense of humour which is ironic when you consider what they drive"
I'll tell my wife you said that as she loves her 90, almost as much as I do my Gaylander.
Edited for ya and a few comments.
I wunt trust a kunt who always refers to his freelander as a gaylander , you buy the hype
