Ok, about time I confessed- I am probably the ONLY Freelander driver who carries a spare hairdrier in the back of his car every time I drive it. There. Feel better now that one of us actually does 'do' hair?

I can do the hair and makeup of any tratter driver if they wish, and even make them smell less, but there is one snag- ALL my clients are very, very dead.... :D

ps I wash my client's hair with bromopropane which might sting a bit, but is an excellent degreaser for Landy parts too! ;)

I'm new to this forum and its probably the only club ill need. But I agree it could be fun to meet up at a campsite one weekend over summer for a p..s up, I mean talk freelanders

camping and gaylandering, somehow it all fits

I agree with that.

The way I see it, car clubs are just for someone to make money on memebership fees. And what do you normally get for your fees? A cheapo 'newsletter' and a sticker. Whoopidoo....
That and paying the high costs of public liability insurance every time a show stand is put together at the various shows you may or may not want to partake in. Who do you think takes care of all that?

well from the feedback I have got from people I think the general opinion is that people are happy enough on here with the forum etc but might like to meet up every now and then for camping and freelander chat or perhaps an off road weekend or something. That way then there should be no concerns about getting ripped off or anything like that. :)

I think your right Kevin,
Its lots of work and lots of funding each year to do a proper job mate,
if you want to arrange meets and things Great,
I am sure some takers will be found..;)
