Wot tyres are good offroad??

I was looking to fit some BF Goodrich All Terrain or Mud Terrain tyres to my Disco for light/medium off-road use until I looked at the price!

As I will do less than 2000 miles a year tyre wear is not a big issue.

Anyone got good experience with other brands, or remoulds that have the same tread patten as the Goodrich's??

Amazon's are good tyres mine are same pattern as Insa Saharas.

Mine are good may be you should buy em?And im just down the road, worth a look! Landrover rangerover discovery Mud tyres & wheels MT on eBay (end time 28-Feb-10 11:40:15 GMT)

I'm running Maxxis Bighorns, mud terrain tyres. Good in the mud and not too bad on road either.

I got these babies for my old disco, great off road but pants on the road.
They were £50 a corner.

insa turbo special tracks... that's what i have. great stuff

insa turbo dakars(bf goodrich mt exact copy) are pretty good tbf i manage to get 70% of the places people do with specail tracks its only when it gets suuuuuuuper muddy i get stuck

Im on Dakars-they good enough for me...Paddocks did me 6 for £390

I'm running BFG Mud Terrain's, they came with the landy and i was told they're good for 100,000 miles, don't know how true it is but they seem pretty good to me. I've been off roading and they seem to get me out of trouble apart from last weekend when i got totally suck in feet depth mud/clay. Any body know how much the BFG Mud Terrains are per corner because my rears need replacing soon?

everywhere that will do offroad tyres will do the bfg, they seem the most popular.

Those are Interco Super Swamper Boggers. if your on their website check out the SSR radial, a lot of people around here run them and love them. Another one that i like(and run) are the Mickey Thompson Baja Claw radials. on my truck in the pic.
