Will these wheels fit my 110 ??

Hi,

Spotted these on Ebay, I currently have a 110 CSW 1994 300tdi with standard steel wheels with inner tubes, will they be a straight swap ??

AFAIK no, they are not rated for the weight of a 110.

+1 if they are Freestyle Alloy they are not rated for a 110, OK for a 90. Fitting them on a 110 will invalidate your insurance. I'm not sure about a 300tdi but they wouldn't fit my 200tdi unless you fit spacers on the front.

What about boost alloys off a 300 discovery? would they not have the same weight rating as later defender boosts?

if they look rough just paint them

They are the original cream steels which match the roof but they have inner tubes and im forever getting slow punctures on all wheels + i want a more chunky tyre.

Any ideas welcome

what about getting a set of wolf steel wheels, you can get tubeless versions of those and they look quite good and are heavy duty. Get some chunk tyres on them

I have looked at the wolf steel modulars and they do the the business, am I right in thinking that these will fit straight on then with no spacers, and that they have the correct load rating for my 110 ??

yes will fit with no spacers (i have them on my 90) and they are land rover original equipment and HD so suitable for 110's and 130's

Only thing is they are a good bit thicker steel than the normal wheels so the nuts dont wind on as far as the normal ones. Its still safe but you need to torque the wheels up a good bit more than normal, or you can change the studs in the hubs for longer ones.
