Why are freelander called "gaylanders"

Most of them tractor boys cruise the freelander section looking for man-love, what they misunderstand is that the gay in gaylander means happy.

Best solution is to ask the admin to replace the G word with [Freelander] using a filter. That way the homo trattor boys looking for their gay dogging fix won’t accidentally visit the Freelander forum, when kerb crawling the web.

To explain it one more time, (boy, unbelievable how hard to grasp for these tractor boys :your_wrong:) the Hippo or Freelander is not perfect at all BUT it's simply the BEST.:D:D:D:D

But to be honest, next time something goes wrong with it one feels the same as the tractor boys and thus referring to a pile of sh..... as they do when speaking of their wheels.:flame2:

this was a fun read!

Freelanders are not called gaylanders. Only some closet queers refer to them as gaylanders to try and draw attention from their macho tractor wagons really being true gay vehicles.

quite a few people call em it actually, it was used quite extensively by a number of people in belize after i introduced m to the phrase, landy drivers, squaddies, and slitty drivers

but i agree with darmain, they got their place. if you are someone that spends almost all their time on the road but may occasionally go to a car boot sale, county show, or encounter some other mud for whatever reason then they are good because whilst they dont really offer much off road capability, they do offer more than your average car

Sorry Carpy but thats bull! I've got to disagree with your "dont really offer much offroad capability" comment. The ONLY issue I have found with the Freebie is ground clearance and that is not the be all and end all of Offroading. Check out LRO International page 206 Jan 2010 issue ;)

People that call Freebies 'Gaylanders' are themselves insecure and have bossy Mothers. Their way to compensate is to pretend they are very masculine. In fact, they probably wear their sister's knickers.
There, I've probably ****ed off most people on the site without even getting a question out. YAY!
