Which Tyres?

Hi all,

I'm in need of new tyres! 265/75/16 is the size I'm after, and I was looking at the Cooper Discoverer STT's - look awesome, great reviews, good price. That was, until I found out they are no longer available...

Now I'm stuck as to what to go for instead! It's fairly urgent now as my spare has a slash and another is almost illegal. I like the BFG KM2's but they are a bit pricey, and I've seen some reviews saying wear is not great, which when spending that much on tyres is not something you want to hear!

Any suggestions or advice welcome :)

I am looking at the Maxxis Bighorns in that exact size, and they are not bad prices compared to BFG's etc.

I run Maxxis tyres on my 'normal' cars and they are great, and these ones seem to come out good in the reviews too.

STT's not available? Paddocks have got them in stock according to their website. 89quid +vat.
 
Thanks all! Just phoned Paddocks as I'd forgotten about them, they said they haven't updated the website but that they are no longer available. Same as camskill, now showing as out of stock :( apparently everyone's waiting for the STT Pro's as the replacement, but no one has been given a date.

StuRox, thanks I'll have a look at those Maxxis ones, I've not really seen much about them before!
