Ming,
I will spare you and your mutt if you indicate me where the rubber plug can be found to fill the autogearbox Jatco ?? I checked around a couple of times already but can't locate it at all.
I posted a picture - ya silly tree - http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f9/where-put-stands-37510-2.html
its on the gearbox
Yes, but I got puzzled by the following picture which seems to show the place to fill as being near the front of the car. (See the white plastic piece in which the rod to keep the hood up is). Checked mine at that place but nothing but rubber hoses going back and forth but no such thing as a rubber stop. Of course this picture taken from a KV6 where mine is a Td4. Thought it would be visible from above and the front of the car with only the hood open.
it is indeed a very small hole, with a rubber bung, when i did mine , i used an applicator that you get on sealants such as silicone for trigger guns , i cut the end off the spout and the treaded end cut so it fitted into a garden hose then a lenth of hose into a funnel, this made the job easy and i didnt spill any,[this is very important ,as you want to get the exact amount in] and not worry about undoing the level plug, i did do a write up of the whole procedure a while back. . . .
was them piccies takin in yer garage??
the only other person i know that tiled a garage floor was ron denis. it was just after his noo place was built and he had some marble tiles left, so he had them sent up to silverstone where they were laid in the pit mclaren was gonna be using during the brit GP
