Been trying to things up for size all day Mate. This has got my head done in , is that one yours ? how is the box attached in there ?You could fit the aircon washer bottle which tucks under the wing, that would free up more space on the ns behind the ps reservoir to fit the air box?

Sorry, that one is not mine it is a pic off google, but I have the aircon under wing washer bottle fitted to mine along with the upright TD air filter in the seam place the PS reservoir is. But mine is a 200tdi conversion with the PS on the other side.Been trying to things up for size all day Mate. This has got my head done in , is that one yours ? how is the box attached in there ?
Thanks.

Thanks Mate, Im going up to Study it again, would rather have it on that side, to make it easier for pipes from Turbo.Re-found the pic on google it is form this thread here: Link
The mounting bracket looks to be for a 200tdi and bolt to the inner wing (photos courtesy of @bustersbus form the thread above)

Thanks Mate, yes I have been looking at yours was it a hard job to cut it down and what filter did you use. ??My air filter housing is a chopped about 300tdi, but is is the same dimensions as the 2.5 N/A air filter housing.
If it's any consolation, it took me two or three years to sort the filter out.

Yes youre right about the shape of the Disco box, think if I can get it secured it should be OK.I messed about with a square Discovery air-box for ages and ages, the bottom is just the wrong shape to sit at the front of the engine bay and where you have it is the only place it will sit. I was worried that it was a bit close to the hot turbo, but lots of people fit them there.
The filter I have used is a 2.5 N/A element and the housing is exactly the same size as a 2.5 N/A but the lid fastens with a wing-nut rather than clips. I do remember thinking that after doing a lot of chopping and welding I may as well have used the old 2.5 N/A housing.

Thanks, Does look quite neat.Very neat solution.
Does the front hose need to route to the outside somewhere ?
Lol and we know how cleanly they usually ranNice but not essential, think of all the bygone cars with pancake filters on top of their carbs, and all the air came from under the bonnet area.

Diesel all the wayThats because carbs are rubbish, no matter how well they are set up, they never stay well set up.
Diesel all the way
