Hi all,
I’ve seen an old blog regarding the same subject matter but thought I’d raise this for my old girl.
My truck is a 90 TD with original J Series engine. The fuel filter is situated on the driver side on the front bulkhead in the engine bay.
I have tried at great length to undo the filter by hand but it’s stuck solid. Access for hands and arms is not good as bonnet impedes easier access.
Does anyone have any straight forward ideas how I can remove the filter without fear of breaking something else along the way.
If a removal wrench is the answer, can anyone let me know what type I would need. I have the right replacement filter but sadly will remain in its box until I can successfully remove the old welded on one.
Thanks to all for advice….
